ABOUT

I was born and raised in Arkansas, a place we lovingly call "The Natural State." I grew up with the mentality of always trying to work harder than anyone else. My dad would tell me:

"Don't do anything half-assed."

I think he got that from his mom who used to say: 

"If you're going to do it; then do it right or not at all."

 
It's no wonder I am such a perfectionist when it comes to beauty and skincare! Moving from Arkansas to New York City for fashion school was definitely one of the best decisions I ever made because now I get paid pretty well as a blogger on beauty trends.
